Awesome mutant motard – the Bimotard DB10

While the Tesi 3D got a ‘Phwoaarrr’ out of me indeed, it didn’t exactly shall we say, push my buttons apart from it’s obvious engineering-marvel perspective. That front suspension system is out of this world.

From some angles it looks really balanced and must have an incredibly low centre of gravity giving it some wicked handling no doubt. But I’m just not a big superbike/sportsbike fan (because I can’t ride em.. sssh).

I like motards, nakeds and things that are a bit different to the norm so when I scurried home to teh internets the first thing I looked up was the Bimotard that Big Steve promptly informed me of, warned me in fact, ‘you better not look at the Bimotard then’ I think he said.

It was love at first sight. This is the stuff dreams are made of.

Take a closer look at some of the exquisite detail built around the already spectacular L-twin air cooled single spark 1078cc Ducati desmodromic engine. Drool!

I love everything about this bike. Look at where they have taken this already spectacular engine, check out the trellis swing arm and delicious discs! Everything screams, hand built Italian quality.

I even love the zorst. I think it is a custom Zard but I can’t find much info on it other than what’s on the Australian Bimota site (links below).

Bling has never looked so good. Loving that tail section.

I really like all the extra trellis frame work and the mean lines they have given the beak. The streamlined and insanely sexy pipes to the funky tailpiece reworking. Everything looks so dam streamlined. This has to be up there with the best of the best, ultimate Motard surely?

At the very least it makes the Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 look plain, fat and ugly.
